We had been looking for just the right bitch to join Daybreak when we heard about DeDe (aka Diva). At first, what we knew most about her was her parentage, which definitely piqued our interest right away. She is sired by Cason’s Quarters Black Jack, a dog who just about took our breath away when we first saw him at the Cumberland Trial.

Later that Saturday, when he was named Best Overall Terrier, our initial impression was confirmed. We were equally pleased with the “bottom” half of DeDe’s pedigree, which contains many fine working terriers. Within a day, Jenni called DeDe’s breeder, Carol Voyles, and declared her “Sold!”

And we are certainly sold on DeDe! She possesses in spades the qualities we value the most in our terriers. She is particularly sweet and easy-going and gets along with all of our other terriers, both male and female. We feel that she will make a fine contribution to future generations of Daybreak terriers.
